Each monologue must be 60 seconds to 3 minutes in length. You will lose one point for every second short your monologue is. Be sure to time it before your performance.
Use the rubric on the back to understand the expectations for the monologue.
The monologue must come from a play or musical.
The monologue must be memorized. The maximum points received will be a 30 (and graded with rubric).
Slate- 10 Points
State your name, grade, the name of the play/musical in which your monologue comes from, and the author of that body of work.
You must project, speak slowly and confidently!
Resume- 20 Points
Using the examples provided you will create your own stage and film resume.
This must be printed and ready to hand in during your mock audition.
Headshot- 10 Points
Follow the guidelines you were given to print a headshot that it appropriate from an audition.
